That sir is an Oulophyllia Bennettae. If you got it from JimsReef it is a frag from the one I gave him. Under blue light it actually glows as I'm sure you know. Puts out very long sweepers.

Just a lil update on (George) the Neon Damsel. He/She is doing wonderfully. Aside from biting my fingers come feeding time, I love this fish! lol I hated to see him all alone in the tank so I took a chance and bought a small lil Yellow tail Damsel. First 20 minutes I was sure George was gonna kill it. But nope, they are now getting along great. I am very pleased with the constant movement in my tank. My tank is almost 3yrs old and to have fish that I can see and watch all day is definitely a treat.

Sweet looking setup! Very unique. What made you go with the egg crate? Gotta say it does free up a lot of space on the SB Smiley

Well the shrooms are still having their way with my tank. I've tried (once) to use a Kalk paste on them and only a few died. I just don't know what to do Sad Other then that all is well with my tank. Love my Reef Octopus BH-1000! Works wonderfully!
During the first UPMMAS swap I was given 3 heads of Acan by 2FarNorth (Jim) and today it has 10!! How awesome it that right-lol.

Sounds like there's an ATO in your future.   Grin

Been running an ATO for over a year Smiley Not sure what the answer is otherwise. Maybe drilling a hole in the box just above the intake tube?

Yeah well this one has a design flaw. It has a tendency to run dry when the water level drops. So I'm constantly adjusting it up and down. Sad Quit the PITA. Can't seem to find that sweet spot.
18  Aquarium Discussions / Everything Marine / Re: So who has SPS ? on: May 29, 2013, 08:08:25 AM
I had a 75 that the same thing happened. Hair all over ! Shocked

Now i started doing manuel removal. And made sure my water had 0 TDS.  It looked Better But I still had it growing. Then i switched my lights. They had switched to a diff spectrum. Still had some growing.......

So i took out all my sand. Yep all of it!

Rocks are clean and theres none growing anywhere. Sump has cheato now to. Harvesting every 2 weeks.

Tank looks great and starting ton fill in with frags. I will never have sand again !

That is just totally insane!!!! Wow!! Don't think I've ever seen so much HA..crazy!!! As for SPS I have one....Monti Spogodes Smiley Just got it from HeiHei29er at the swap!!!

Oops! Sorry for the lack of update. Life stuff en things. Skimmer's working wonderfully! Had a friend hook me up with a per-skimmer box as the original part set's way to deep for any type of surface skimming. Here's some pic's taken just 24hrs after plugging it in for the first time. Smiley
